Kids2Crusaders 2017 Skills & Drills Session

 

As a Kids2Crusader season ticket holder, you are invited to attend a specialised skills training session and BBQ with some of your favourite BNZ Crusaders players.  You will have the opportunity to rub shoulders and learn some skills and tips from the experts.  Plus at this session you will receive your free Kids2Crusaders rugby ball. Please find the details below.

When:  Thursday 27 April 2017
Where: The training ground of the BNZ Crusaders - Rugby Park
Who:  All Kids2Crusaders & Child Season Ticket Holders
Time: 2pm to 3.30pm

Entry:  Please access the session via the gate under the Rugby Park stand on Malvern Street.  All kids are asked to be ready to go at 1.50pm.

What to bring: Drink Bottle, Rugby Boots (if have them), Warm clothes.

Also: Parents are welcome to stay and watch!

Plus: BBQ and signings post session.

BNZ Crusaders shout drought-affected farmers to the footy

While most rugby fans will be pleased to see a fine forecast for Saturday evening’s Super Rugby match against the BNZ Crusaders, North Canterbury farmers are continuing to battle one of the worst droughts the region has ever suffered.  One hundred of those farmers will get the chance to switch off from the constant worry of the drought for an evening though and instead enjoy a night out at the rugby.

Most rugby fans will be used to seeing some of the BNZ Crusaders team wearing traditional headgear when they take to the field, but next Wednesday the team will be sporting something a bit less practical but a lot more colourful – all in support of children with cancer.

The BNZ Crusaders are seeking nominations for community projects and people who deserve a good turn in the Timaru, Ashburton, North Canterbury and Banks Peninsula regions.  The squad will head to these regions on 27 January and will be making themselves available to lend a hand to some good causes.

The BNZ Crusaders are teaming up with the Christchurch City Mission to bring some Christmas joy to those in need this year.  On Wednesday morning the BNZ Crusaders team will erect the marquee that will house over 600 people for Christmas dinner thanks to the Christchurch City Mission.
