The Crusaders and Highlanders were so closely matched that the result could literally have gone either way, but a difficult call from the TMO in the final minute gave the Crusaders the win and sent them to the top of the New Zealand conference.

The Crusaders will be bitterly disappointed to have allowed a 14-man Sharks team to beat them at home on Saturday night. The two teams were neck and neck for much of the game but a 77th minute try to the Sharks saw them steal the win for the first time ever in Crusaders territory.
Record win over Reds

It was a game of two-halves in Brisbane, in what turned out to be a record-breaking victory for the Crusaders over the Reds. Not many would have guessed the end score of 57-29 when the halftime score was sitting at 17-16 to the Reds. But when Wyatt Crockett scored a quick-fire try 4 minutes into the second half, the Crusaders turned a corner and the momentum grew from there.
Convincing win for Crusaders over Brumbies

The Crusaders have dealt the Brumbies their biggest loss in almost three years, beating them by 40 points to 20 on Saturday afternoon. A sellout crowd at AMI Stadium enjoyed watching their team put the second-placed Brumbies to the sword.
