Owen Franks

Tighthead prop Owen Franks has represented New Zealand at secondary school, Under-21 and now All Blacks level. Franks made his debut for the Crusaders in 2009 when coming on as a substitute against the Force and made his first start in the victory over the Bulls where he made a big impact against the big South Africans. He scored his first Super rugby try against the Reds in what was his eighth game. Franks made his All Blacks debut against Italy at AMI Stadium. His big brother, Ben, also a prop, has been a Crusader for four seasons.
