Peter Borlase

Peter Borlase made his Canterbury debut against South Canterbury in 2006 but a back injury forced him to miss the 2007 season. A big tighthead prop who can also play loosehead, Borlase is a qualified builder. Like several others in the Canterbury squad, he went to Christchurch Boys' High School. Borlase began his early rugby at the Prebbleton club but moved to Burnside after leaving school, representing Canterbury age group teams from under-19s on and earning a trial with the New Zealand Colts. He enjoys surfing and all other sports and is a big fan of Liverpool Football Club.
