Billy Harmon returns for his third season with the Crusaders in 2020, having first joined the side in 2018.
While at Christchurch's St Bede's College, Harmon was selected for the New Zealand Schools' Barbarians squad for their matches against Australia and Samoa, in 2012.
He has played for the Canterbury Colts and Maori sides previously, and spent time in the Crusaders Academy system. He made his debut for Canterbury in 2016, earning consecutive provincial titles with the red and blacks in 2016 and 2017. He now has consecutive Super Rugby titles from the 2018 and 2019 Crusaders seasons.
In 2018, Harmon earned a place in the Maori All Blacks squad and he now has three caps to his name. With the departure of Matt Todd at the end of 2019, Harmon has a big opportunity this season in the seven jersey.
