Crusaders Official Community Partner, Bayleys Canterbury have raised over $500,000 over the last 3 years through their 'Plate Up For a Purpose' initiative.
The initiative works in collaboration with the Christchurch City Mission's Back to School Programme, raising money for uniforms, stationery, backpacks and other practical items to ensure children have the best opportunity to hit the ground running when they return to school.
Bayleys work with local businesses, including the Crusaders, to crowd-fund donation money to make the initiative work. Crusaders CEO Colin Mansbridge has been rolling his sleeves up alongside other business leaders in Christchurch to take part in Bayleys' "Plate Up For a Purpose" initiative, preparing dinner for 200 guests at the annual fundraising event.
Speaking on the event, Mansbridge said,
“We’re fortunate to work alongside Bayleys Canterbury, who dedicate their partnership with us to making a genuine difference in the communities we both serve.”
