The BNZ Crusaders have leapt to a five point lead at the top of the New Zealand conference with a clinical 24-13 win over the Hurricanes in Christchurch.

It wasn't pretty, the slippery conditions ensured that, but the Blues had the satisfaction of pushing the BNZ Crusaders all the way before the visitors claimed a 32–24 win at Eden Park on Saturday.

 

It was a comeback for the ages in Christchurch as the BNZ Crusaders stormed back from 0-29 down to beat the Waratahs 31-29 in a thriller on Saturday night.

Unleashing a powerful third quarter, the BNZ Crusaders secured a record-breaking 55-10 win on Australian soil, in Melbourne on Friday.

A superb defensive effort has seen the BNZ Crusaders overcome the Brumbies 21-8 in Canberra and move to the top of the Super Rugby standings.
