Jordan made his debut for the Crusaders squad for 2013 and has proven himself to be an aggressive defender and dangerous attacker. He was one of the standout players of the 2015 campaign, notched up his 50th Super Rugby appearance in 2016, and played in all bar one of the Crusaders matches in 2017, including the historic game against the British and Irish Lions and all play-off games that culminated in the 2017 Super Rugby title.
Taufua made his professional debut in 2012 in the ITM Cup where he had an outstanding season for Tasman and made a real impact when he joined the Canterbury squad for the semi-final and final. He played for Counties Manukau from 2014 - 2016, then returned to Tasman in 2017.
Taufua was part of the Junior All Blacks team which competed in the 2012 IRB Junior World Championship, having represented Samoa the year before.
