Crusaders International Academy (CIA) Coach - Closes 28 August 2020

The Crusaders, through the Crusaders International Academy, has links in Europe, America and Asia already, and has recently entered into an exciting and innovative relationship with the University of Wollongong (UoW) to offer the Crusaders UoW Global Programme. The Crusaders UoW Global Programme will provide students with a unique opportunity to combine the world-class rugby training program with academic studies at one of the world’s best modern universities, enabling them to achieve their full potential in both areas.

Expressions of interest are sought for an experienced and motivated High-Performance Coach to lead the Crusaders UoW Global Programme. Based out of Wollongong, NSW Australia this role is accountable to the Crusaders International Academy Manager and will be responsible for running the rugby operation of the programme, whilst working closely alongside the UoW Programme Manager.  Some financial assistance will be provided for relocation costs for the preferred candidate.

It is intended that the person in this role is an experienced high-performance coach who will have a high degree of coaching experience, at club or representative level alongside a track record of strategic development and people leadership. Key responsibilities will include the visionary, strategic and organisational direction for the CIA Global rugby programme at UoW alongside leading and developing all players who attend the programme.

To be successful in this role, candidates will be required to develop a working knowledge of the Crusaders International Academy and ensure strong connection, alignment and programme unity between the Global Rugby Programme at UoW and the Crusaders Christchurch based Academies and Tasman Academy Centre.
