The Long Run is back for its fifth year, and we're ready to do it all again.

Our annual Crusade With Heart event returns on Friday 22 January 2027 – save the date in your calendars now as this is an event you won't want to miss.

The Long Run is more than just an event. It's a day that brings together players, Members, partners, staff and the wider community for a shared purpose. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, every step helps raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation.

Year after year, The Long Run continues to showcase the incredible generosity and spirit of our Crusaders community. Last year alone, we ran over 40,000 laps and raised more than $200,000 – together, we've raised awareness, supported important causes and proven the power of coming together for something bigger than rugby.

In 2027, we're aiming even higher: $500,000 raised, 100,000 laps nationwide, and past $1 million total since it began. We're inviting you to be part of it once again.

There's still plenty more to come, with registrations and event details to be announced soon. For now, save the date, start gathering your mates and get ready for another unforgettable day of community, connection and impact.

Because The Long Run isn't just about the kilometres we cover, it's about showing those in our community who are facing some of life's toughest challenges that we are behind them.
