Debuting in 2024, Fletcher Anderson is a young athlete to keep an eye on. Fletcher captained his Christ College first XV side and was named in the 2020 NZ Schools team (while no games were played due to covid restrictions, a team was still named to recognise the efforts of the players). As well as striving ahead at a young age in rugby, Fletcher also had huge successes at the Maadi Cup, winning both silver and gold medals across his rowing teams.  

Fletcher was part of the Crusaders Academy and Crusaders U20 side in 2021 and 2022. He is studying towards a double degree in Finance and Law at University of Canterbury, captains the senior UC side and made the NZ Universities team in 2022, the same year he debuted for Tasman Mako and received their Rookie of the Year award.
