Crusaders Connection Week – take time to talk
At the Crusaders, connection is integral to our identity and our culture. It’s how we genuinely engage with our team and wider whanau, and how we ensure everyone belongs regardless of role or standing.
We work with charities like I Am Hope to use our platform and voice to create real positive change in our community. We champion self-improvement and a deliberate approach to mental well-being. This year we’re encouraging our community to check in on each other during Connection Week, 22-26 April.
Whether it’s your mate, your sibling, your parent, whoever – signs of poor mental health aren’t as obvious as poor physical health. A conversation or a catch up can often be the spark to encourage sharing and vulnerability.
Attending live sport, especially with friends and family, is well known to combat loneliness and forge a sense of belonging and happiness.
We are proud to partner with Chemist Warehouse for our Connection Round and appreciate having partners who are committed to making a difference to our community who are helping us raise much-needed funds for I Am Hope. We have a two for one ticket deal running as part of Connection Week, giving people the opportunity to come to our game versus the Melbourne Rebels and take the time to connect.
On top of this, we are donating $5 from every ticket sold to I Am Hope. Chemist Warehouse will be taking donations at the game, in store and online until 12 May.
