Crusaders name all-time Legends XV
After weeks of voting, thousands of passionate fans, and more than a few debates around kitchen tables, office lunchrooms and clubrooms across the world, we’ve finally got it. Your all‑time Crusaders Legends XV is complete.
This campaign has been something special. More than 12,000 entries rolled in, with 27,523 individual votes cast across the 15 positions. Fans from 26 countries and territories had their say – proving once again that the Crusaders family stretches far beyond our home in the south. New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, France and Japan led the way, but every single vote helped shape this team.
And now the last pieces of the puzzle are locked in.

The Legends XV competition now rolls into a new phase for the season ahead. Super Rugby will take the reins, and each week fans across the competition will vote on that week’s position. Every week will build towards the ultimate all‑time Super Rugby XV.
