Real time audio commentary ‘Livefeed’ arrives at Crusaders home games for 2026

There’s nothing like experiencing game day live at Apollo Projects Stadium, but from this week, fans are getting something new that makes that experience even better.
We’re introducing Livefeed, a real‑time commentary service you can listen to right from your seat using 4G. If you’ve ever wished you could catch the referee’s explanations or hear expert insight without taking your eyes off the field, this is exactly that.
It’s simple. It’s quick. And it’s built to make your night at the footy even better.
What Is Livefeed?
Livefeed streams Sky’s referee audio and commentary through purpose‑built technology that keeps delay incredibly low. Around 80 milliseconds. That’s close enough to feel like what you’re seeing and hearing is happening at the same time.
The service has already been used across a range of sports including All Blacks Tests, Supercars and Black Caps matches. Fans love it because it adds depth to the game without taking anything away from the live experience.
And the best part? It comes at no cost to fans for the whole 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.

How to use it
The Livefeed team has worked hard to keep things easy.
No app, no sign‑in, no fuss – just remember to bring your headphones to the game so you can connect them to your phone.
Once you’re inside the gates at Apollo Projects Stadium:
- Open your phone
- Plug in your headphones
- Go to superrugby.fm and select the Crusaders game.
- Or scan the QR code on the big screen which will take you to the Livefeed link.
Then, you’ll be listening to zero‑delay commentary and referee audio in seconds.
The atmosphere stays the same, and your front row seat will be enhanced even further by getting all those little insights that help you understand the game as it unfolds and so you don’t miss a single moment.
Come and be part of our last few games at Apollo Projects Stadium - kick-off is 3.35pm this Sunday 22 February.
