Macca Springer has signed on with the Crusaders until 2025.
The 19-year-old has been a rising star for the Tasman Mako in the NPC after being named a development player for the side in 2021. Springer spent some of 2022 as a development player with the Crusaders and is part of the Crusaders Academy.
The Waimea College leaver also represented New Zealand at the Oceania Rugby U20 Championship, where the New Zealand Under 20 side beat Australia 69-12 to take out their fifth title since the tournament started in 2015.
The Crusaders are excited to see what this young talent will bring to the 2023 season.
