Taha Kemara is another product of Hamilton Boys High. He captained the first XV side in 2021 to the school’s 14th win of the Super 8 (a North Island competition between eight Boys’ High Schools) and was selected for the NZ Secondary Schools team, he has been part of the Waikato NPC side since 2022.

After an impressive debut season for the Crusaders in 2023, Taha was selected for the NZU20 putting points on the board for all four games, then debuted off the bench for the Maori All Blacks in 2024.

“I would say he’s probably the most naturally gifted 10 I’ve played with. If he keeps working on his game, the world’s his oyster,” – team mate James O’Connor.
