A number of Crusaders were in action last Friday for their provincial unions in an afternoon of fantastic rugby across the garden city.
The first game of the day saw Tasman kick off against Southland at Christchurch Park at 12:30pm, with Tasman boasting an eye-wateringly good lineup. Quentin MacDonald, Kershawl Sykes-Martin, Quinten Strange, Fletcher Anderson, Louie Chapman, Macca Springer and Levi Aumua were named alongside Crusader All Blacks David Havili, Ethan Blackadder, Noah Hotham and Will Jordan.
Otago faced off against Canterbury at Apollo Projects Stadium with the former naming George Bower to start.
Canterbury named 16 Crusaders in their matchday 27, with George Bell, Seb Calder, Jamie Hannah, Tahlor Cahill, Corey Kellow, Tom Christie, Willi Heinz, Jone Rova, Braydon Ennor, Chay Fihaki, Brodie McAlister, Finlay Brewis, Dominic Gardiner, Mitchell Drummond, Dallas McLeod and Cullen Grace getting a run
