Sevu Reece has committed his immediate future to the Crusaders
The All Blacks winger has signed a new contract that will take him through to 2024, ensuring the Crusaders will hold onto one of the best and most exciting wingers in the country.
Since making his debut for the Crusaders in March of 2019, Reece has scored 44 tries in 55 appearances and won 4 Super Rugby titles under Scott Robertson.
Scott Robertson, Crusaders Head Coach, said Reece was “one of the world’s premier try scoring wings”.
“His impact on the field and ability to create something from nothing is a special gift,” Robertson said.
“The Crusaders are blessed to have Sevu.”
Reece has dotted down 14 times for the All Blacks in his 21 appearances so far, proving himself a key member of Ian Foster’s squad. He will no doubt have his eyes set on World Cup glory in 2023, with his new contract keeping him in New Zealand until after the next global tournament.
We’d like to wish Sevu all the best with the upcoming Northern Tour and we can’t wait to see him back at Orangetheory stadium in red and black!
