Tahlor debuted for the Crusaders in 2024 after his first year playing in the Canterbury provincial side.
Moving from Shirley Boys to Hamilton Boys High School in 2020, Tahlor played in the first XV aiding them to a Super Eight title (a north island competition between eight Boys’ High Schools) as well as captaining the school's volleyball team.
Earning himself a spot in the Crusaders Academy in 2021, Tahlor was also part of the undefeated U20 Barbarian side at the Super U20’s in Taupo and awarded Player of the Tournament.
Speaking about what drives him, Tahlor said “one of the most important things is being a good role model for my younger sister. So if I can nail my values at home, I can definitely be a better rugby player.”
When he is away from the rugby field Tahlor is a keen golfer, with an impressive handicap of 8.
