About
Noah Hotham enjoyed huge success through his years at Hamilton Boys High where he was naturally a Sports Prefect. Noah was vice captain of their first XV, part of the side which won the Super 8 Rugby Competition in 2019 and 2020 (a north island competition between eight Boys’ High Schools).
Union wasn’t his only talent though, winning Condors 7s Schools Nationals also in 2019 and 2020. Noah then captained the winning New Zealand Condors 7s team in 2020 and also the New Zealand U18 Touch team.
Before being named in the Mako squad in 2021 as a development player, Noah was selected for the U18 Chiefs camp and NZ U18 Maori team in 2019 then NZ Schools in 2020.
Continuing on this path Noah was naturally selected for the NZU20’s in 2022, scoring a try on his debut. In 2023 he donned the Crusaders jersey for the first time, against the Highlanders. The season proved a huge success for Noah, earning himself Rookie of the Year at the clubs awards. He then played for the NZU20s again a few months later only this time as captain.
In 2024 Noah was selected for his All Blacks debut coming off the bench in the 36th minute against Fiji.
Clearly a family of sporting success, Noah’s eldest brother Legin claimed silver at the touch World Cup and sister Jazmin won Olympic gold with the Black Ferns sevens team.
